Thanksgiving Recipe Hubs
When the leaves start falling and the weather grows colder, you know you're getting closer to the holidays. The first one out of the gate is Halloween (A holiday for candy and fun). The next is Thanksgiving (a holiday for thanks and feasting). Following that is Christmas (a holiday of giving and helping). And finally comes New Years (a holiday of resolutions and renewed hopes and dreams).
In an attempt to help prepare everyone for the holidays, I've begun a few series on each of these holidays. I will add to them each year for as long as I can. This hub is all about my Thanksgiving Recipes series, which I am still adding to for this year (2011).
As I said Thanksgiving is the holiday of thanks and feasting. Its the holiday associated with the fall harvest. According to history this holiday dates back to the "First Thanksgiving", which occurred during the time of the pilgrims. There are many stories surrounding that first thanksgiving, which was meant to be a feast between the pilgrims and the Native Americans, to give thanks to the food and teaching the Natives provided the pilgrims. There's lots of interesting facts, stories and history on this holiday, but my favorite part is the food! So in this hub series, It's all about delicious recipes you can use at your Thanksgiving feast!
